KJ Folk & Friends Ceilidhs

KJ Folk & Friends Ceilidhs is our traditional line-up option. We are perfect for all parties and weddings, especially if you like traditional folk music.

 

We play a mixture of English, Scottish & Irish tunes in our ceilidh sets, picking the best & most danceable tunes from across our traditional folk repertoire.

 

However, if you have a particular preference, please let us know so we can pair you with the most experienced musicians - we are often asked for Scottish ceilidhs and we have the most perfect fiddle player and caller that we love to book for our Scottish ceilidhs. We tailor our band to suit your every need and create the most magical ceilidh, just for you.

White Bryony Ceilidhs

White Bryony is our most exclusive & unique line-up. White Bryony is the perfect option for weddings and parties.

 

White Bryony features Kathryn on the diatonic accordion alongside her talented friend Nicky Stockman on soprano saxophone & woodwind. Kathryn and Nicky have been playing ceilidhs together for almost 10 years and make a fabulous musical pair! We offer White Bryony Ceilidhs as both a duet and as a trio, accompanied by some of the most amazing guitar players.

 

Our name "White Bryony" comes from old folklore traditions and tales of the Fens, where we come from. With a repertoire largely consisting of local / traditional English music and self-penned tunes, we juxtaposition this with Nicky's jazzy saxophone to add a fresh and exciting twist to our music.
